I think what was fascinating about Ween back in the day was they were such a unique experimental band but were on a major label. ![]() I'm not a Ween expert, but I seem to remember that my original CD of the country album had "Powder Blue" with Muhammad Ali's monologue but then I read it was removed from later copies. At a certain point, they were just creative great musicians and the comedy aspect was almost like a bonus. I remember listening to Chocolate And Cheese a lot and being really impressed with the country album. I continued following all their albums and really started to enjoy when they got more polished. He was almost the perfect audience for those early Ween albums because he was a fan of enjoying many mind expanding substances and loved strange music. Introduced to them by a friend who was teaching me how to do home recording on a Tascam four track tape recorder. I loved Ween when I was young in the 90s. ![]()
